In October 2006, Portland Group (NE) Ltd completed the purchase of the Hide Bar & Grill group for an undisclosed sum. The three existing Hide Bar & Grill venues are located in the North East of England Durham, Newcastle and Yarm.

Hide Bar & Grill is a high end lifestyle group of venues offering a contemporary dining and a stylish socialising experience. As part of the future investment within the bars and restaurant division of the leisure sector, the group have secured a number of key personnel with specialist industry specific experience. TWe are also working with key market leader suppliers to satisfy the demands for quality products, and are developing market research intelligence to identify customer future requirements with regards to products services and future promotions.
