Lumley Court is based in our complex at Willington and can accommodate 38 elderly people with a Mental Health Disorder.

It is furnished to a very high standard. Although Lumley Court is a secure unit it is also a vibrant and happy home where choice and decision making remains a part of the quality of life. A 24-hour emergency call system is in operation.

The home is on a site along with Brancepeth Court, Richmond Court , Auckland Court Sheltered Housing and Portland Day Centre. The site has pleasant lawned areas and a patio, which can be used for barbecues in the summer months. There is an on site hairdresser’s salon and trips to the seaside and Metro Centre, for example, are easily arranged by our activities co-ordinaters.

Friends and relatives are welcome to attend Lumley Court at any time.

A choice of meals is offered daily plus a staggered breakfast. Special diets are catered for on request. Mid morning and afternoon tea and coffee are served in the lounge. Tea making facilities are available in the main lounge. Birthdays and other celebrations are catered for with cake and wine as per the individual’s choice.
